A Grafton man has been charged after resisting arrest Saturday.
Cobourg police were called to a business in the northwest end of Cobourg for an unwanted person Saturday evening at approximately 5:30. Police say the man was arrested for causing a disturbance and not leaving the business when asked.
Officers used a taser when the man resisted arrest.
Once the arrest was made, 65-year-old Mark Hambleton of Grafton was charged with failure to leave a premises, causing a disturbance and resisting arrest.
Hambleton was released with a court date to be set.
