The Belleville Police responded to 48 calls for service between December 17, 2020 at 5 a.m. and December 18, 2020 at 5 a.m.
Charges
On December 16, 2020 at 10:21 p.m., officers attended an address on Farley Avenue in regards to a domestic dispute. Police received information that the female complainant had been struck by her boyfriend. He was also communicating with her, and her family constantly, even though she had asked him to stop. As a result, a 32-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal harassment and one count of assault. He was released on an undertaking with a court date of January 4, 2021.
Stolen Vehicle
On December 17, 2020 at 6:55 p.m., officers attended an address on Tripp Avenue in regards to a stolen vehicle. The vehicle is a grey 2011 Ford Escape, licence plate number CRSW 949. If you see the vehicle please contact the Belleville Police.
