The Hastings Prince Edward District School Board is reporting another positive COVID-19 case at a local elementary school.
In a Tweet on Monday afternoon, the board says a person at Queen Elizabeth School has tested positive, but that “no transmission is suspected”, this is considered a low-risk situation and the school remains open to students and staff.
The board’s COVID-19 update web page shows the positive case being attributed to a student.
Today’s positive case becomes that eighth active case of COVID-19 connected to a staff, or student within the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board.
