HPE Public Health is reporting just one new case of COVID-19 in the area today.
Seven people have also recovered from the virus, leaving the total number of active cases at 48.
The seven day case rate per 100,000 people inched down to 29.7, but keeps the region on the cusp of the “Orange-Restrict zone” of Ontario’s COVID-19 Response Framework.
Three workplace outbreaks continue including the Trenton Walmart and two unnamed businesses in Belleville, with 15 cases attributed to those outbreaks.
Meanwhile, it’s another day with a spike in cases in Northumberland County.
The HKPR Health Unit is reporting 15 new cases today, with the total number of active cases at 47.
