If Quinte West council gives its approval, at least three pop-up shops will set up for business in Trenton’s Centennial Park this summer.
The city’s Economic Development and Tourism Advisory Committee is recommending that Centennial Park, specifically an area near Robert Patrick Marina, be chosen as the site for a trial run for pop-up shops.
Centennial Park is slated for many upgrades and facility improvements in the next few years.
Other locations considered were Frankford Tourist Park and Kiwanis Park at the boat launch on Ontario Street in Trenton.
