We have an update on COVID-19 infections involving students with the Hastings Prince Edward School Board.
Yesterday the board announced a staff member had tested positive for COVID-19 at Kente Public School in Ameliasburgh Sunday while a student at Trenton High School tested positive yesterday.
Late yesterday afternoon on Twitter the school board announced a second person at Trenton High had tested positive. Public Health is getting in touch with families and contacts.
Neither person had contracted the virus inside the school and both Kente Public and Trenton High remain open.
