A barn fire on Moneymore Road in the Municipality of Tweed is under control.
Tweed Fire Chief Derrick Little says the barn was destroyed as well as farm equipment.
Livestock perished in the blaze, although some animals did make it out safely.
Firefighters were called out just before 4 a.m. on Wednesday to 1300 Moneymore Road.
The Tyendinaga Fire Department was called in for tanker support.
