There are another seven new positive COVID-19 cases being reported in Hastings Prince Edward today.
HPE Public Health says four people have also recovered from the virus, so the total number of active cases sits at 41.
Of the new cases, three are connected to ongoing outbreaks, three are pending and one has been attributed to close contact.
There are currently five workplace outbreaks which account for 12 positive cases at Procter & Gamble, seven at the Trenton Wal Mart and the remaining nine outbreak-related cases split between three unidentified businesses in Belleville and Quinte West.
The current seven day case rate per 100,000 is 22.6, which keeps our area inside the “yellow zone” of the province’s COVID-19 response framework.
The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge Health Unit is reporting just one new case of COVID-19 today in Northumbertland County and four recoveries there as well.
That leaves the number of active cases there at 29.
