There are nine new cases of COVID-19 in Hastings Prince Edward being reported today, along with six recoveries.
That brings the number of active cases to 38, with a seven day case rate of 23.1, per 100,000 people.
Another outbreak has been declared at an unidentified Belleville business, with two cases there.
In total, there are five outbreaks currently ongoing, with a total of 27 positive cases between them.
The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge Health Unit is reporting another six new cases of COVID-19 in Northumberland County.
Two people have also recovered from the virus, leaving the total number of active cases there at 32.
The Health Unit says there are currently 192 people identified as “high risk contacts”, meaning they aren’t showing symptoms, but are known to have been in contact with a confirmed, or probable case.
