It appears the Skyhawks will not be jumping into the 2021 performing season.
The Canadian Armed Forces has cancelled the upcoming calendar, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The forces’ parachute team, based out of CFB Trenton, performs coast to coast between May and September each year.
Officials say the decision to cancel so early is to give event organizers certainty and stability in their planning.
Skyhawks Team Captain Fred Morin says in 2022, the 50th anniversary of the team, they will attempt to share the celebration with as many Canadians as possible.
The team has been located in Quinte West for the last 20 years
