Prince Edward County council starts discussions on its budget for next year today (Monday).
At its meeting at 7 o’clock tonight council will see an overview of staff’s proposed 2021 operating and capital budgets and hear a detailed report on expenses and savings due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The proposed budget shows a 3.1% increase in the revenues needed to run the municipality.
Starting tomorrow and running through until Thursday budget meetings will begin at 9 a.m.
