The Belleville Police Service responded to 48 calls from December 6, 2020 at 5 a.m. to December 7, 2020 at 5 a.m.
Warrants
On December 6, 2020 at 8:30p.m., Belleville police stopped a vehicle at North Front and College streets. Officers recognized one of the passengers. During the investigation, it was learned that the male was wanted on an outstanding warrant held by the Belleville Police Service.
As a result, 20-year-old, Jesse Sturgess of Belleville was charged with failing to attend court. The accused was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to attend court on January 7, 2021 to answer to the charge.
