The Women’s Executive Network of Canada has announced their Top 100 List of Canada’s Most Powerful Women, and a former Quinte West resident has made the list.
WXN does an annual list of women across the country, who advocate for workforce diversity, and inspire tomorrow’s leaders.
They are broken down into numerous categories, including Women of Courage. The full category list is below.
Former Trenton resident Jennifer Casey , a Captain with the Snowbirds who died earlier this year, made the list.
Casey was one of three named under the Women of Courage category.
In May, during the Snowbirds’ “Operation Inspiration” coast-to-coast tour, Casey died when the plane she was in crashed in British Columbia.
While in Trenton, she served as a Public Affairs Officer at CFB Trenton, and worked at Quinte News. She was known as Jennifer Howell.
