C.M.L Snider elementary school in Wellington will be reopening its doors Monday after being closed due to a positive case of COVID-19 in the school.
In a letter released Saturday night, Director of Education for the Hastings Prince Edward School Board, Sean Monteith, said the school has been cleaned and disinfected and will be reopening Monday.
Monteith had previously released a letter the night of Thursday, December 3, to announce the closure of the school until contact tracing could be completed and safety could be ensured.
He also took the opportunity to remind people to follow public health guidelines including practising physical distancing and wearing masks as well as screening every day before sending students to school.
