More arrests have been made as part of the ongoing police initiative dubbed “Project Renewal” which targets the illegal sale and distribution of drugs in the Quinte Region.
Members of the Belleville Police Service and OPP executed search warrants on a north end city home and a hotel in Quinte West on Thursday, seizing crystal meth, cocaine and fentanyl, valued at about $1,500, along with more than $87,000 in Canadian cash.
Police arrested three Belleville residents and charged them with the following offences:
Thirty-two-year-old Amber Doyle is charged with:
- Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000
Forty-three-year-old Russell Barriage is charged with:
- Possession of Cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of crime
- Possession of a prohibited weapon
- Breach of weapons prohibition
Thirty-five-year-old Joseph Gannon is charged with:
- Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of crime
- Possession of Cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
