Staff at Warkworth Institution have seized a significant amount of contraband items in the last three weeks.
The packages were found on the perimeter of the medium security facility and included things like cell phones, SIM and SD cards, phone charges, tobacco and other drugs.
Officials estimate the institutional value of the seizures to be around $228,000.
No other details were released.
