The HPE Public Health Unit is reporting eight new cases of COVID-19 today.
There are now 42 active cases of the virus in Hastings Prince Edward and have been five recoveries since yesterday.
Three of the new cases are outbreak related, two were transmitted through close contact and three are still classified as pending.
The rate of transmission over the past seven days per 100,000 has increased to 24.3.
Three new cases of COVID-19 are being reported today in Northumberland County.
The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit is reporting there are now 23 active cases in the county.
There have been eight recoveries while four people remain in hospital.
