The finale of the 8 game HASTY-P Cup goes this afternoon in Wellington with the title on the line.
Thanks to back top back shutouts the Trenton Golden Hawks have forced the exhibition series with the Wellington Dukes to go the distance.
It’s been a tight series with 3 of the 7 games ending in a tie, and all of them in Wellington. However if necessary today’s game will be decided in overtime.
Dukes coach Derek Smith says goaltending in the series has been outstanding.
Trenton coach Peter Goulet says his team has been getting better as the series has gone on.
