The daughter of Belleville Senators Chief Operating Officer Rob Mullowney has been offered a full athletic scholarship at the University of Denver.
17 year old Peyton Mullowney, a former member of the Belleville Youth Swim Team will attend the University next fall.
Mullowney was the fastest 200 metre breaststroke swimmer in her age group in Canada last winter before the Canadian Olympic Swimming Trials were set to begin. Of course that was de-reailed due to COVID.
Peyton Mullowney moved to Ottawa last year when her father was named the senior director of corporate partnerships with the NHL’s Ottawa Senators. Rob Mullowney is currently splitting his time between Ottawa and Belleville.
