Belleville Police responded to 83 calls for service in the last 24 hours, including almost a dozen car crashes.
Authorities say injuries occurred in two of those, while eight crashes involved property damage and one incident is being classified as a fail to remain.
Police also arrested a 25-year-old Belleville man yesterday, for allegedly stealing a winter jacket from a store on North Front Street on Monday night and charged him with theft under $5,000.
The BPS is also issuing a reminder to drivers to lock vehicles and not leave valuables inside, after reports of items being stolen from cars on Sinclair Street, in the west end, early yesterday morning.
