Another 10 new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported in Hastings Prince Edward today, but there were almost as many recoveries recorded over the weekend as well.
HPE Public Health says there are now 32 active cases in the area, which means nine people have recovered since the last numbers were reported on Friday.
Of the 10 new cases, which were found between Friday and Monday, six of them are outbreak-related, three have been transmitted through close contact with someone else who had the virus and one has been linked to local spread.
The majority of the new active cases are in Belleville, but cases have also been reported in other parts of the area, according to the HPE Public Health Dashboard.
In Northumberland County 7 new cases of the coronavirus were reported Monday.
