Due to the quickly increasing numbers of COVID-19 infections in the area, Hastings and Prince Edward counties are now officially in the “yellow-protect level” of the province’s COVID-19 response plan.
This means strengthened public health measures are now in place, including limited hours of of operation in certain businesses, reduced recreational program sizes, additional enforcement and fines, and enhanced education in high-risk settings.
Also, Hastings-Prince Edward Public Health is asking people to not travel far from home unless absolutely necessary.
