A Quinte West man will appear in court in the new year after a traffic stop on the weekend.
Quinte West OPP report on Saturday shortly after 7 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on Lorne Avenue in Trenton.
Officers learned the man, 30-year-old Scott Comeau was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Further investigation also led to the seizure of suspected methamphetamine.
Comeau is facing a charge of possession and will appear in court on January 14.
