There may be no Santa Claus “parade” in Quinte West this year, but there will definitely be a Santa Claus…on the internet.
On Sunday at 4 p.m., what would have been parade day, Quinte West Chamber of Commerce has arranged to present a special holiday video on Facebook featuring Santa with special messages for the children of Quinte West.
It will include videos of past parades in the city.
In a message, Mayor Jim Harrison says he supports the decision to cancel the Trenton Santa Claus parade and indicated the city will provide alternative safe activities for the whole family during the holiday season.
