Six new cases of COVID-19 are being reported in Hastings Prince Edward today.
The Health Unit says there are now 31 active cases in the region, up from 27 yesterday according to their COVID-19 dashboard.
A new workplace outbreak is also listed, this time in Belleville. Three of the new cases reported today are linked to this new outbreak.
One of the cases from yesterday is also listed as outbreak related, in relation to the workplace outbreak in Quinte West, which now has six cases linked to that outbreak.
The other three cases are listed as local transmission (two) and pending (one).
Hastings Prince Edward has also been moved into the yellow zone under the provincial COVID-19 response framework as there have been 16 reported cases of the virus per 100,000 over the past seven days.
Meanwhile in Northumberland County, there are three new cases reported today.
There are currently 14 active cases and 64 resolved cases.
