Being arrested and taken into custody by the police upsets most people but a 27-year-old Belleville man had the exact opposite reaction to the situation late yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.
Belleville police report the man showed up at police headquarters to turn himself in on outstanding arrest warrants.
However police informed him he would not be taken into custody.
The man became angry and caused some damage in the lobby of the building.
He now faces more charges and is in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
