Prince Edward County Council has ratified a new four-year contract with its inside and outside workers, members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE).
The union represents 107 full-time and 28 part-time employees and had ratified the contract previous to council.
Wage and benefit increases total 1.75% in each of the first three years, and 2% in the fourth year.
The contract also features increased sick and bereavement leave.
Union members have agreed to work extended hours at straight time to meet operational requirements during busy periods.
