An important partner with Quinte Health Care has received a “Values in Action Award” from QHC’s Board of Directors.
Chosen for the award was the company Pioneer Healthcare and its CEO Travis Shawcross.
Pioneer Healthcare provides QHC with non-urgent patient transfers.
Board member Lisa O’Toole said Shawcross said his staff always go above and beyond in their duties and quotes a comment from QHC’s Program Director of Emergency and Primary Care Heather Campbell.
“He’s even implemented the “Pioneer Cares Program” and that helps patients under financial strain by transporting them home, no charge. Fantastic!”
Pioneer Healthcare began working with QHC just last year.
