A 28-year-old from Bancroft has been arrested after OPP checked a vehicle parked on Pinegrove Street, in Hastings Highlands, on Saturday night.
Police say officers checked the vehicle just before 10:00 p.m. and found the driver to be in possession of a prohibited weapon.
The driver, who was not identified, was charged with unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and two counts of breaching a release order.
The driver was held for a bail hearing today.
