The Belleville Police responded to 45 calls for service between November 22, 2020 at 5 a.m. and November 3, 2020 at 5 a.m.
Motor Vehicle Collision
On November 22, 2020 at 7:15 p.m., officers attended Cascade Avenue between Harvest Crescent and Village Drive in regards to a car accident. A vehicle was travelling west and lost control as a result of the road conditions. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a pole. The pole was dislodged and crews attended to replace the pole. There were no injuries and or charges.
As of 5 a.m., Cascade Avenue is closed to traffic between Harvest Crescent and Village Drive. Please avoid the street.
Motor Vehicle Collision
On November 23, 2020 at 12:15 a.m., officers attended on Moira Street West in regards to a vehicle in the ditch. Officer attended on scene. They received information that a vehicle was travelling east and lost control due to road conditions. The vehicle ended up in the ditch. The driver was not injured and there was minor damage to the vehicle. There were no charges laid.
Motor Vehicle Collision
On November 22, 2020 at 9:13 p.m., police attended an accident at Bell Blvd. and Wallbridge-Loyalist Road. A vehicle had lost control and struck a traffic light pole. Upon speaking to the driver, officers believed that alcohol may have been a factor in the collision. The 27-year-old Stirling male provided a breath sample and as a result, the male was given a 3-day licence suspension and his vehicle was towed.
