A second Loyalist College student has tested positive for COVID-19.
In an email sent to students and staff, Loyalist President Ann Marie Vaughan says the Hastings Prince Edward Public Health Unit had already completed contacting people considered high risk contacts of the individual who is now in self-quarantine.
The risk of contracting the coronavirus remains low at Loyalist College and classes and other activities will continue as scheduled.
Last Thursday it was reported a Loyalist student had tested postive.
The two cases are not connected.
