Paramedics and Belleville police were called to a residence in the area of Catherine Street for an overdose around 5:30 p.m. Saturday evening.
According to police a woman had overdosed on crack cocaine and was unresponsive. Paramedics used naloxone and revived the woman who then became aggressive towards paramedics and police.
The 35-year-old Belleville woman was apprehended for her own safety and was held at the police station until she was medically cleared and released.
There were no charges laid in the incident.
