Jury selection is set to begin Monday for a trial against a woman from Quinte West on manslaughter and other charges.
Nicole Scardino, 47, will stand trial after the death of Samuel Andrews in Trenton in June of 2018.
Andrews, 49 at the time of the incident, died after being hit by a vehicle at a West Street address.
Scardino was originally charged with second-degree murder but the charge was lessened last year.
Three weeks have been set aside for the trial.
