The Belleville Police Service responded to 68 calls for service from November 18, 2020 at 5 a.m. to November 19, 2020 at 5 a.m.
Motor vehicle collision
On November 18, 2020 at 9 a.m., Belleville police responded to a collision in the area of College Street and North Front Street. No injuries were reported and as a result of the investigation one of the drivers was charged with making an unsafe turn.
Arrest on warrants
On November 18, 2020 at 5 p.m., members of the OPP turned over a male to the custody of the Belleville Police Service who had an outstanding warrant. Twenty-nine-year-old Kyle Campbell of Prince Edward County was released on charges of failing to comply with probation X3, failing to appear for court and theft X 2. He was given a December 10 court date.
Intoxicated female
On November 18, 2020 at 11 p.m., Belleville police attended a domestic disturbance in the east end of the city. Officers determined that a 23-year-old female’s level of intoxication was the cause of the issue. Officers attempted to assist the female by arranging for her to spend the night at another location to sober up. The female continued to cause issues and was then arrested for breaching the peace. She is being held until she is sober.
