A Belleville man faces charges of assault with a weapon and possession of a dangerous weapon after an incident yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.
City police responded to a University Avenue address after reports that a man had been pepper sprayed after confronting another man he discovered in his backyard.
Officers, including the K9 and Tactical Units, found a suspect nearby and arrested 40-year-old Jody Wannamaker.
