A retail store employee faces charges of theft from the store where she worked in Belleville.
Police responded last evening (Tuesday) to the north end store in regards to ongoing thefts.
Investigation showed that about $700 worth of merchandise had been stolen over a four month period.
Twenty-five-year-old Shilpa Shilpa of Belleville was charged with theft under $5,000 and will appear in court December 10.
