Quinte West OPP are investigating two break and enters that happened overnight on Friday, November 13, 2020.
The first was a break-in to a utility trailer parked at a residence on Northumberland Boulevard in Quinte West where over $10,000 in tools were stolen. The stolen tools include Dewalt, Paslode, and Milwaukee power tools, a Bosch laser level, and a King electric generator.
The second, on the same night, happened at a construction site in the west end of Trenton at approximately 3:30 a.m. Another utility trailer was broken into where $4,000 worth of roofing tools were taken. A black enclosed utility trailer valued at approximately $5,000 was also stolen from the site.
Police are now asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two men and two vehicles.
One man is described as:
- Six feet tall
- Thin build
- Wearing camouflage jacket with hood, black work boots and light coloured pants
The second man is described as:
- Five-foot-ten
- Thin build
- beard, dark coloured hair and is balding
- wearing black boots, dark jeans and a light coloured jacket
The vehicles are one late ’90s model Ford F-150 pickup truck, two tone in colour with a dark colour on the top and a tan colour on the bottom and one silver GMC Sierra or Chevy Silverado pickup truck with a silver tool box in the truck bed, and no front licence plate.
