Belleville Police Service responded to 65 calls for service from November 16, 2020 at 5 a.m. to November 17, 2020 at 5 a.m.
Arrest on Warrants
On November 16, 2020 at 2:30 p.m., police were called to a downtown office with regards to a male who had a warrant for his arrest that was being held by The Belleville Police Service. Upon police arrival the 43-year-old Belleville resident was arrested on the outstanding warrant for failing to attend for fingerprints and he is being held for a bail hearing on November 17.
Breach of Undertaking
On November 16, 2020 at 8:00 p.m., police were called to a College St. East address in relation to a disturbance. Police investigation found that a male who had recently been released on an undertaking was the one causing the disturbance and damaging items in the residence. The 22-year-old Belleville resident was arrested for mischief and breach of undertaking and is being held for a bail hearing on the November 17.
