UPDATE @ 7:55 a.m. : One person from each of this morning’s crashes was taken to hospital by Hastings-Quinte EMS, but the severity of any injuries is unknown.
Scuttlehole Road is closed at Shannon Road while police investigate the incident there, but crews have cleared the scene on Highway 401.
No other details have been released.

There are reports of a couple of early-morning crashes in today.
Both happened just before 7:00 a.m. and reportedly involve one vehicle each.
One crash is on the westbound Highway 401 between Glen Miller Road and St. Hilaire Road, with ambulance, police and firefighters on scene.
Emergency crews were also called to Scuttlehole Road, where a car reportedly hit a tree.
