The Hastings Prince Edward Public Health Unit has confirmed three new cases of COVID-19 today.
Another case was confirmed on Wednesday and two more were reported yesterday.
Of the now six active cases, two are linked to local transmission, two are close contact and two are travel.
Four cases are in Quinte West, one is in Belleville and one case is in Prince Edward County.
Of the three new cases, one is a man between 20 and 39 and two cases are men between 40 and 59.
Meanwhile in Northumberland County, the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit has only one active case there.
Ontario is reporting 1,396 new cases of COVID-19 today.
The new case total is a decrease from yesterday’s record daily high of 1,575.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says there are 440 new cases in Toronto, 440 in Peel and 155 in York Region.
