Although it cooled off quickly in the afternoon there was another high temperature record set for the Quinte region on Remembrance Day.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton the temperature warmed up to 17.9 degrees Celsius in the noon hour.
That was enough to get by the old high temperature record for a November 11 of 17.3 degrees set in 2012.
The warm spell has now ended and temperatures are returning to more seasonal values.
