There are two new cases of COVID-19 being reported in Hastings-Prince Edward Thursday.
HPE Public Health says both of the cases were confirmed yesterday, with one of them found in Belleville and the other in Prince Edward County.
No other specifics on location were given, but one new case was transmitted through local spread, while the other transmission cause is still pending.
The new positive results bring the total number of active cases in the region up to three.
Meanwhile in Northumberland County, the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit is reporting one new case today, which officials say was transferred from a neighbouring health unit.
That is the only active case in Northumberland.
