A single vehicle collision caused a lot of problems for over 600 homes and businesses yesterday (Wednesday).
A car hit a pad mount transformer located in the area of North Front and Donald Streets around 4 o’clock in the afternoon.
That caused a widespread outage in the area.
Most homes and businesses had power restored not long after the incident but it wasn’t until around 2 o’clock this morning (Thursday) that the lights came back on on Lane Avenue.
The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
