While there won’t be a traditional Santa Claus Parade in Belleville this year, there will be plenty of ways to celebrate the holiday season.
The Belleville Chamber of Commerce, Downtown District and Children’s Safety Village are all holding events to spread the spirit of the season in a socially-distanced and safe way.
Santa will make his first appearance on November 22, when he takes part in the drive-by celebration at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
Visitors can drive past displays put on by more than 40 community groups, with Gleaners Food Bank and the firefighters toy drive collecting donations.
The Chamber is also planning to create driving routes through residential areas to show off houses that have been decorated, while the Downtown District is hosting an Enchanted Market as well.
