Three young men from Brighton have been arrested after a high-risk take down by OPP overnight this past Sunday.
Northumberland officers responded around 12:30 a.m. after a caller reported they were being chased by another car and someone in the vehicle appeared to have a gun.
Police say they found the vehicle on Alice Street and arrested all three men, while the Emergency Response Team and K-9 Units conducted a search for evidence.
An imitation gun and ammunition were found in a search of the vehicle.
Eighteen year olds Carson Typhair and Sebastien Chambers, and 19-year-old Tyler Cormack are all facing various charges including careless storage of a firearm.
Typhair is also charged with uttering threats and using an imitation firearm while committing an offence and Cormack was also charged with two counts of assault.
The trio is set to appear in Cobourg court on January 13, 2021.
