It was only by a fraction of one degree but it was just warm enough yesterday (Monday) to set a new high temperature record for the Quinte area.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton, yesterday’s high was 18.5 degrees Celsius.
That beat the old record for a November 9 by two tenths of one percent.
The former record of 18.3 degrees was set way back in 1938.
