The Belleville Police responded to 59 calls for service between November 7, 2020 at 5 a.m. and November 8, 2020 at 5 a.m.
On November 7, 2020 at 9:03 a.m., police attended an address on Moira St West in regards to a neighbour dispute. One neighbour was taking down a fence of the other neighbour with a shovel. As a result of the investigation, Robert Thibault, a 59-year-old Belleville man, was charged with two counts of mischief under $5000. He was released on an officer in charge undertaking with a court date of December 10, 2020.
On November 7, 2020 at 1:37 p.m., officers attended at an address on Dundas St East in regards to a domestic dispute. Police received information that the victim had been hit in the face and dragged off a couch. A 24-year-old Belleville male was arrested and charged with one count of assault. He was released on an officer in charge undertaking with a court date of November 30, 2020.
