An overnight incident on Front Street in Belleville that led to a man being taken to hospital in Kingston with serious injuries has been determined to not be criminal in nature.
City police had taped off an area on a sidewalk at the north end of Front Street after the man had been found unconscious early this (Friday) morning.
After initially reporting the incident as an assault investigation, police provided an update stating criminal activity was not involved in the incident.
