The driver of a vehicle that hit the concrete abutment of a railway underpass in Tyendinaga early this (Thursday) morning is being treated at Belleville General Hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The vehicle ended up on its roof after the collision but the 38-year-old female driver managed to get out.
The collision happened shortly after 2 o’clock this morning on Old Highway 2 near Milltown Road east of Shannonville.
OPP are investigating. The Mohawk Fire Department and Hastings-Quinte paramedics also responded.
