Building permits issued in the City of Quinte West increased last month when compared to the same month last year.
The City reports 111 permits were issued for the month of October with a total construction value of $12.5 million.
The majority of permits issued were for residential units.
Compared to the same time last year, there were 99 permits issued with a construction value of $24.6 million.
So far this year there have been a total of 704 permits issued for a construction value of $82.3 million.
In 2019, there were 866 permits issued with a construction value of $159.6 million over the same ten month period.
